StoneArch Meetings is part of a full-service marketing, communications and creative agency, giving us instant access to more than 45 seasoned creative directors, project managers, graphic designers, animators, script writers, video directors and editors, and interactive developers—who regularly collaborate with the StoneArch Meetings team.

Mary Ellen Brennan

Account Director

Mary Ellen brings 30 years of international meetings and film production experience to StoneArch Meetings. She works closely with senior leadership to ensure that the messaging supports their organization’s overall business objectives, frequently helping them craft their speeches and providing speaker coaching to enhance their presentation skills. Up and down the corporate ladder, clients embrace Mary Ellen’s refreshingly direct, warm and respectful style, unmatched organizational skills and innate knack for delivering exceptional client service.

Prior career experience includes working as an associate producer of feature films in Los Angeles, executive producer for a large meetings company and an account executive for a global retailer’s marketing division.

Among Mary Ellen’s non-work passions, traveling and scuba diving top the list. Name a body of water and it’s likely she’s explored it with a tank on her back.

Jeffrey Cvengros

Account Executive

Jeffrey comes to StoneArch with over a decade of experience as an Executive Producer, Director and Writer for major television and broadcast cable networks. He helps clients conceptualize and execute messages that will energize and engage their teams. His talent for crafting narratives and compelling audiences to act is an asset to all our clients. No stranger to producing, Jeffrey helps clients build out the meeting experience—from creative to execution.

Jeffrey cut his teeth in an industry centered around creativity, perseverance and hustle. His prior career experience includes working for major networks, including FOX, HBO and CBS.

Outside of work, Jeffrey enjoys spending time with his wife and young son. And it’s worth noting—he has experience working with iconic filmmakers like Steven Spielberg and Jerry Bruckheimer. If you ask for stories, he might share a few.

Thomas Tillisch

Executive Producer

Tom comes to StoneArch with more than 30 years of experience in corporate meeting and video production. Prior to joining StoneArch Meetings, Tom spent 12 years with Ameriprise Financial where he produced dozens of national and global conferences, meetings and webcasts. As owner of Pied Piper Productions, Tom produced meetings, customer events and Telly Award-winning videos for Fortune 500 companies throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico, Mexico, Europe and China. Tom’s professional experience also includes 10 years as technical director for Chicago-based iO Theater (formerly ImprovOlympic).

Wayne Walstead

Associate Director, Strategy

As a classically trained illustrator with 20 years of theater experience, Wayne brings incredible value to StoneArch Meetings. Since joining StoneArch over a dozen years ago, Wayne has worked on literally hundreds of meeting and marketing initiatives, developing visual messaging for every product from desserts to cardiac devices. His background as an actor, set designer and stage director gives him an innate understanding of the unique challenges of the meetings business, and he infuses his scenic designs, presentation graphics and theme logos with a texture and depth that drive brand messaging.

In his off-hours, Wayne may be concocting a gourmet meal, remodeling his house or mediating between his border collies, Henry and Jackson. Wayne has been honored for his illustrations with an IN-AWE Award for Excellence from the Medical Marketing Association.

Steve Blehert


With more than 15 years’ experience as a video producer and director, Steve is an essential part of StoneArch Meetings. Credits include opening, closing and interstitial videos, candids modules, training videos, as well as broadcast TV and radio spots. Steve is central to the creative development and script writing, location scouting, talent casting, shooting, directing and post-production. While the process varies by project, our clients welcome Steve’s agility, creative problem-solving and seamless collaborations with motion graphic designers, animators, editors, actors, musicians and clients.

Steve’s work has been nationally recognized by the Telly Awards, Ava Awards, Communicator Awards, and Cine Golden Eagle Awards. Independent projects—aside from his two young sons—include a series of stop-action videos starring pumpkins and fruitcakes. Steve holds a BA in journalism and mass communications from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Dennis Noonan

New Business Development Director

Dennis comes to StoneArch with over 20 years of experience in concepting and producing large-scale meetings and events. Prior to StoneArch Meetings, Dennis spent nearly a decade at Marcus Evans, where he managed conferences for three of its North American divisions: Life Sciences, Banking and Finance and Business Strategy. Leading these divisions, he identified the conference topic, built the business case for the conference and oversaw all aspects of conference marketing and operations. Dennis’s professional experience building coalitions in D.C. spurred his passion for helping groups identify their objectives, build consensus and take the necessary steps to achieve their goals. Fueled by a spirit of service, Dennis is committed to helping organizations find innovative ways to educate, inspire and mobilize their teams. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring the great outdoors while fishing, hiking, skiing, and biking—ideally, with his daughter and Great Dane in tow.

Medtronic – Further, Together

MEDTRONIC, Further, Together, CVG National Sales Meeting

Medtronic launched its new brand and tagline, Further, Together, and wanted every element of the National Sales Meeting to follow the new brand. We took it from a static message to a motivational call to action for 2,000+ Medtronic Cardiovascular Group reps.

A highly visual multimedia open brought Medtronic’s new brand to life against a 100-foot ultra-wide backdrop that fused video footage illustrating collaboration with a live dance performance. From messaging to scenic to presentation graphics, we designed every element to help further the objective and key messages of the meeting.

Detailed planning, personalized agendas and branded directional signage helped the participants from 14 business units and 12 regions find their way to 30 different breakout sessions at three different hotel properties across two city blocks.

We introduced the leadership team with a campy music video spoof of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’ (Midnight Train).” With a little coaching, the executives lip-synced to custom lyrics and track while voguing, moonwalking and channeling Journey.

We also took a four-and-a-half-hour awards event honoring the top sales reps—a tradition that hadn’t changed in 25 years—and turned it into a two-and-a-half-hour evening that entertained everyone. We videotaped the 80 winners when they arrived for the conference and edited overnight to create four two-minute segments. The segments were interspersed throughout the dinner, and when winners saw their name and business unit, they came to the stage as their colleagues cheered. We also hired a professional comedian to start and end the evening. Survey results jumped from 76% from the prior year to 97%.

Raymond James

RAYMOND JAMES, Invested in the Future, CVG National Sales Meeting

For Raymond James & Associates, being “Invested in the Future” is more than a theme. Their core beliefs include establishing sincere relationships with both clients and employees. Every year, top-performing advisors and their families come together for a three-day, all-inclusive Summer Development Conference.

StoneArch collaborated with the in-house creative team to breathe life into their stylized logo of local Washington, D.C. landmarks, moving it across both stage and screen to produce a seamless meeting experience. From the sun rising behind Congress to a sunset on The Mall, the set, lighting and multimedia screens on either side of the stage evoked the feeling you could see the city at a glance, with speakers walking out among local landmarks. Title treatments with motion graphics brought D.C.’s architectural icons to life. Comprehensive photo galleries after each general session continued the feeling attendees were being taken on an intimate tour of destinations like the Jefferson or Lincoln Memorials.

StoneArch managed keynote speakers Alan Greenspan and Pippa Malmgren, and responded to every technical need of an Alexander Hamilton impersonator, children’s choir, gospel choir and comedy troupe The Capitol Steps.

International Dairy Queen


Playing off the company’s ad campaign, “At Dairy Queen, good isn’t good enough,” we wrapped the 2012 Expo in a quest to learn what that message meant to DQ customers, franchisees and senior leadership. Through executive presentations and speaker support, interstitial interactive games and candids videos, we helped Dairy Queen tell their story, reinforcing their brand promise of creating exceptional, memorable experiences.

Travel Leaders

TRAVEL LEADERS, Ridin’ High, National Meeting

Everything may be bigger in Texas, but as North America’s largest travel agency franchisor, Travel Leaders is bigger everywhere and definitely Ridin’ High—most recently at the company’s 2012 National Meeting in Dallas. The spirit of the Wild West surrounded attendees the moment they entered the ballroom. The stage was transformed into a classic Old West town—complete with a saloon, dry goods store and sheriff’s office—the ideal backdrop for the troupe of honkytonk dancers, Texas fiddler and trick roper who kicked off the show.

Ridin’ High wasn’t just a celebration and call to action. As the meeting’s foundational message, we integrated Ridin’ High into the executive speeches, visual support, emcee script and videos, and used it as the through-line for the interstitials, from Ten Gallon Trivia to The Good, The Best and The Elite.
